Viking ll is custom-built for the Great Barrier Reef’s annual Giant Black Marlin season, from early September through December. The Giant Black Marlin season offers guests a massive chance of seeing a fish over 800lb with the main goal of seeing a fish over that magic figure of 1000lb.
Covering a large area from Cairns up as far north as Lizard Island we fish the outer reefs, including the world-famous Ribbon Reefs and Linden Bank. During Heavy Tackle season, we offer live aboard charters, mother shipping charters as well as the ability to do trips out of the world-class Lizard Island resort.
